Handshakes, hugs, bisous

Handshakes, hugs, bisous

It won’t be the same anymore. Go back a few weeks and look at the ease with which one person would meet and greet each other. There was a natural flow. Not a wink of doubt, nothing just simple connection. I find there’s been a loss. A loss of a very simple essential true contact between each other, the whole human race. Imagine this goes on and we actually have to wait for a vaccine and then go through all of that vaccine/no-vaccine debacle, human rights issues etc etc. Even after all of that, it’s inevitable that the average human won’t even bother thinking this and that but will opt for it. It’s not a question of that. It’s the question about losing a sense of being as a human. It’s as if someone has taken away a very basic sense from you like the sense of “taste”. Imagine someday someone tells you there might be a deadly poison in anything you eat. A sense of trust is lost. It’s a pity. I feel that we as humans won’t be the same again. We need to beat this, but we cannot see it. Our opponent this time around can’t be blasted to shreds.

What happened? Where did we all go wrong? The freedom of the walk, the run, the garden, concerts, matches, stadiums full of people, trains, seats... metal bars everywhere. What all are we going to cleanse or sanitize? Are we going to be able to sanitize the whole planet? The humanness, the little pats here and there, the gestures, everything will now be seen as a carrier. It’s a pity. What a loss.

We lost one outwardly we need to gain access quickly to one of the inner jewels. For this seems like the only way to fill that gap. As of now one knows that there is one inwards and one outwards. We as humans have lost one out, gotta get one back in. Seems we got a deal there.

Can we look at this as an opportunity? As of now the world of the internet has opened up a whole new ballgame. It stole our probably only chance of really going inwards. And so now its screenwards. And yet again we will mindlessly leap at it like we were when we were going about our daily lives some weeks ago. Well things will get back I am sure. But somethings will never be the same. And this is one of them.

Are masks and gloves going to be the new norm? With a whole new fashion line : gloves, protective gear, this that high quality sanitizers, bio ones too for the whole body, hair, lips, face, hands legs, eyebrows, hair gells etc. I mean think of it. Humans will have a way around all of that. But it won’t be the same again. Even if you are able to isolate every single case of a human infected. How do we isolate the objects, the things, the everythings that are outside, in order to operate our lives?

What could be the solution here? What comes to mind is the way we break the boundaries for our loved ones, if the same could be extended to the whole planet then our task is achieved, and we are back where we were in terms of specifically taking into account our point of discussion. “The sense of loss of a primordial trust between fellow human beings” …..
